Hatch Box – September 2021 (France)

While this book picture features a little dog named Antoinette as the main character, the Parisian setting is filled with people of all shades, colors, and ethnicities. Seeing a woman in a taxi wearing a hijab just made my heart sing. This book normalizes seeing people of all backgrounds in the city of Paris and I just love it. Plus it is stunning and a perfect bedtime story.
